A small pilot needs a small amount of information. Here’s what Andrej keeps and why.
What we store
If you give feedback, we store your five answers, any optional comments and first name, a submission ID and the date. We also count the votes for each tone.
If you join as an organiser, we store your first name, contact (email or WhatsApp number), FPL mini-league ID, estimated league size, preferred tone, and your consent wording and date. Resubmitting the same league ID updates its record.
What it’s for
Running and assessing The Roast pilot: reading feedback, contacting organisers, and preparing and sending the weekly editions. Andrej runs it manually. We don’t sell your information. There are no advertising trackers or analytics cookies on this site.
Public football data. Private choices.
FPL data is public and read-only. We never ask for your FPL password or change your team. The sample uses invented manager and team names. Its statistics come from the supplied GW5, 2026/27 facts.
We roast leagues that opt in. It roasts FPL decisions only, never anything personal, and anyone can opt out.
Storage & retention
The website is hosted by our hosting provider, and pilot responses are stored with our database provider, Upstash. We keep at most 2,000 feedback entries. Feedback and tone counters expire within 180 days of the first entry in their storage window. Signup details expire 180 days after their latest update.
To limit spam, we keep a salted hash of your IP address for up to ten minutes. Our app doesn’t store your raw IP in pilot records; hosting providers may process connection logs to operate the service.
Stop, sit out, or delete
Email hello@theroast.uk to leave the pilot, ask us to leave a manager out, or request deletion. Give your league ID, or enough detail to identify your feedback. Andrej will handle it personally. League IDs used to index signups can remain after automatic expiry; we remove them too when you request deletion.
You can also tell Andrej directly at any time. No explanation needed.
